Privacy Policy – App

1. Information We Collect

The App does not collect or store any personal data from end-users or customers making payments. However, the following information may be processed during use:

Stripe Location ID and Token URL (entered by the merchant)
Transaction information, including amounts, timestamps, and status (processed by Stripe)
Optional customer email addresses for sending receipts (handled by Stripe)

No payment card data is ever stored on the device or transmitted through our servers.

2. Use of Stripe

The App uses Stripe Terminal and Tap to Pay on iPhone to securely process contactless payments. All payment transactions and customer data are handled directly by Stripe under their own Privacy Policy.

Merchants using this App are responsible for complying with applicable privacy laws when configuring and using Stripe services.

3. Local Settings Storage

The App stores the following settings locally on the device via Apple’s @AppStorage mechanism:

Location ID
Token URL
Currency preference
Tipping options (if enabled)
App passcode (if set by the user)

This data is not transmitted externally and remains only on the device.

4. No Tracking or Analytics

The App does not include:

User analytics
Advertising SDKs
Location tracking
Background data collection

Your usage is private and remains on the device.

5. Data Retention

No personal data is retained by 3leaf.it. Merchants are responsible for any data stored via their Stripe account.

6. Security

All network communications are protected using HTTPS and TLS 1.2+. The App relies on Apple’s secure networking frameworks and Stripe’s PCI-compliant infrastructure.

7. GDPR and Data Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including access to and erasure of your data. Since we do not store or process personal data ourselves, please direct such requests to the merchant or to Stripe.
